About The Restless Theologian
Meet the Host
Zechariah Eshack created The Restless Theologian podcast in October 2023. Having long enjoyed discussing theology with friends and fellow Christians, he launched the podcast to explore the doctrines of the Christian faith, the categories of systematic theology, and the rich history of the church from a Reformed perspective.
Regular guests on the show include Cory Reckner, Zach Humm, and Kathryn Eshack. Special guests have included pastor, author and counselor Dr. David D. Edgington, translator D.P. Curtin of The Scriptorium Project; and Garrett Sheppard and Bobby Miller of the Stay Reformed Podcast.
Zechariah lives in Northeast Ohio with his wife, Kathryn, and their son, Gideon. He is passionate about ecclesiastical history, systematic theology, and the study of the Reformed tradition. He is also a member of The Huguenot Society of America.
Zechariah holds an Associate of Science in Education from Stark State College and works as a Digital Marketing Specialist for a marketing and website development agency.
What I Believe
I affirm the Bible's revelation of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit being co-equal and co-eternal in the God-head that is professed in the Apostles’, Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds.
I also uphold the Reformed doctrines of sovereign grace and salvation that is outlined in the Canons of Dort, Belgic Confession, and Heidelberg Catechism.
